Wrapping up My frist Week

Journal Entry: Thu Apr 9, 2009, 7:23 AM

Phew, been a while since my last entry, and for good reason. I figure i shouldn't have to update every time i do something, i mean, how come on. I don't think there's a need to know when i get up and get my arm chewed off by the puppy, although if that did happen, i'm sure everyone would have a good chuckle. XP

SO! I'm just wrapping up my first week at school, and so far, it's pretty awesome. Make some pretty awesome friends (well, at least i think they're awesome so far, i've only known them a week) Thanks to them, i've been able to explore parts of Shibuya i normally wouldn't have known about. Friends aside, the learning curve is a little steep in class. While the teacher does her best to monkey their way through the lessons, it's all still in Japanese, so you have to be able to keep up. I'm doing alright thus far, and hope to keep it that way.

Tomorrow will be my first nomikai (drinking party) with some of the guys from class. Should be a lot of fun, just gotta watch my money, and remember not to get lost on the train on the way home. I plan to get thoroughly smashed. I think i deserve it after the amount of stress i've been taking. ^^

Oh, I'll also be moving out of my current place in the next few months. Living this far out, especially from school can really take it out of you. From here, to my school it can take nearly two hours via train to get there. So moving closer to school i think would be a better idea, save me money, and give me more incentive to explore.

...and i've started to ramble. God only knows when i'll update next, maybe I'll update again tomorrow night, when i'm in my drunken haze. Who knows. XP

Comission Info and Faq:
Updated: January 10th, 2009

Requests: Open
Commissions: Closed

Prices:
Line Art: Not Decided
Full Color: Not Decided

Short Version:
Note me an idea or reference for a Tripp you'd like to see, and i'll do what i can. Payment is done via advertising. Basically, you mention my Tripps in a journal entry, or word of mouth. ^^

Long Version:
What are Tripps?
Tripps are small unusually shaped robots, i thought of while i was visiting my brother in Japan. Shibuya is a great place for inspiration. Each Tripp I design is unique, and will normally never be reproduced unless i choose so.

Can I have one?
Yep, sure you can. As of now, i'm opening free commissions to help get my Tripps a little more notice. If things pick up i might start charging, we'll have to see how things go.

How can I get my own Tripp?
Easy, just note me any details you want on your Tripp, and i'll do my best to create a Tripp to your liking. If you really can't think of a Tripp you want done, I can think of one for you, and i'll try to style it the best i can after taking a look-see through your own gallery. ^ ^

My Tripps now come in Two different flavors! Huzzah! Customers will now have a choice between the default Tripps, or the new Evolved Tripps

Regular Tripp: [link]

Evolved Tripp: [link]

If you really can't decide if you want an Evolved or Regular Tripp, then you can just leave it up to me to decide for you. ^ ^

How long does each Tripp take?
It really depends on how complex the customer, or I want to make it. The usual Tripp piece Evolved or normal can take me anywhere from a few hours, to a few days. Some even spanning upwards of a week or more. Remember, I do work almost full time, and can only draw on my days off, and when i have time before work.

Limits and Rules:
I have a total of five slots open for Requests. Once those are filled, you'll have to wait till i finish up that set before i can start work on another bunch of Tripps. That being said, you're still free to Note me, and make a request. Most requests won't be turned down, as i'm always up for a good challenge.

Now onto the nitty gritty bits. My Tripps MAY NOT be used, reproduced, or take credit of. For now, i've left the water mark off my commissioned Tripps, but that might change if people start using the Tripps without my consent.

Every customer can make a request for a maximum of Two Tripps, if you want more than that; I will do it, but you're request will be put to the bottom of the list, so i can get the simpler Tripp pieces out of the way. But rest assured, they will be done!

Hello random person who has been on my viewers list for quite a while! Your art is amazing! Keep it up ^^
thank you for the watch ^.^
I moved here late last year. It's an awesome place to live, and despite what people tell you, it's not as expensive to live here than one might think.

If you ever need some info about Japan, feel free to ask, i don't know all that much just yet, but i can give you an insight on first living here. ^^

That's very interesting! ^^

I personaly have an eye on nagoya, as there is a certain company there, I'd love to work for - I'll see how it ends up. :3

besides - I just need to understand why natto is supposed to be so tasty :O
Nagoya is nice, i havent been there myself...not yet at least, but its somewhere i want to visit. I'm here in Tokyo, and it's a great place to live.

Natto...there's a lot to be said about Natto, and if you're anything like me, you can't/won't understand why people love it. It's a slimey, non-attractive food stuff that i just won't eat. XP
